Hello Kindred Spirit,
How are you? I hope you’re doing well!
Here are 3 things I wanted to share with you this week:
1. If you’re a Julia Cameron fan like me, you might already take yourself out on an Artist’s Date regularly. Here’s a great list of artist date ideas you’ll actually want to do from Art Makes People.
2. As artists & creatives, we can constantly question what we have to offer. Who am I to do this? What do I have to say? Who am I to write this? In this post, I talk about my own writing journey.
3. Book Recommendation: As highly sensitive people, we have a tendency to “pause before acting.” This caution can really help us at times AND sometimes, it can morph into fear that keeps us stuck. The book You are What You Risk gave me an important piece about understanding risk. It talks about how there was a time when there was no word for risk in human languages because risk was the equivalent of LIFE. So, while we want to manage risks, understanding that we can’t avoid all risks can encourage us to take more shots.
That’s all from me this time. Here’s to more power to you and your creativity!
With love,
Ritu
